This is a nightmare! I did the same thing that I read on another rip-off complaint. I went to the site and wanted a "FREE" sample of the product, but only a sample, due to the fact that I'm usually allergic to most stuff. Next thing I know, I'm getting billed $41.00 on my credit card for this stuff and a package arrives in the mail with a whole bottle of it and other hoodia stuff that I can't use. I had already called my credit card company to recredit my account and stop payment on this item. And of course, no one can get to the blood suckers by phone. Every time you call the number it states that all their customer service reps are busy taking orders from idiots like us. I called it today and it said that the waiting time was 55 min. But then if you wait for 55 min. They hang up on you.
So I sent the package back and sent them a "NICE" little letter with it, stating that I only wanted a "sample" and for them to refund the amount back into my account. I also sent Oprah Winfrey (since it had her face on the front of the web) an e-mail and told her what kind of fraud it was. I never did get any response from her and plan on sending her another one.
Well, about 3 weeks later, I notice on my credit card account that another $39 and yet another $46 has been taken out of my account. This time I was really pissed!!! So all the process started again. Now I'm trying to get ahold of the Better Business Bureau to see what I can get done. I really pitty the older people who are on a budget and probably don't even realize that it's on their card. God, I hate frigging sons a b& like this! It gives good products and good web sites a bad name because people are afraid to even try anything or buy something.
