Orion Promotions Of Louisville "D.A.R.E."
Orion promotions, quantum, "d.A.R.E.", JENNI MOON fraudulent and illegal hiring practices and marketing scam

This company advertises EVERYWHERE and have the audacity to use the word CAREER. This job is the biggest joke on the planet and its marketing is a complete scam and should be illegal. I'm sure it is.

I called and talked to Jenni, and we arranged for an interview. I was told to "dress professional" and bring my resume'. I did both. On the morning of the interview, as I was just about to walk out the door, a Jenni's receptionist called me and said "something came up" and rescheduled me for the next day. She reminded me to "dress professional" and bring my resume. Wow. This must really be a great job!

So I show up at 10:30 am the next morning, and there are already 5-6 people sitting there, waiting for their interview also. None were dressed professional. And I could tell by the decor, this was no "career." So "Jenni" walks out and announces to us all that she will conduct a five minute interview with each of us, and then she will decide who to call back for a second interview.

By the time it was my turn to have my five minutes, 6 or 7 others came in with their resumes... I could tell by now that this company has a HUGE turnover, and she has to hire anything and everything that walks in the door, regardless of how they are dressed, or whether they have a brain. They just ask you to dress professionally and bring your resume to try and convince you this is a job ANYONE would want. It isn't. I have NEVER been to a job interview with so many people flooding in to be interviewed.

So I sit down in Jenni's rat hole office and have my five minutes with her. She gives NO details about the job, saying "we will save that for the second interview, should you be chosen." She asked such deep questions as "what is more important to you... Success or growth?" I was curious, but KNEW that I would somehow make the cut. She promised to call between 4:30 and 6 that evening, but didn't get around to calling me until nearly 8. Real professional.

So the next day Jenni was too busy interviewing 30-40 people to call me back, but eventually did tell me I "had been selected." Big surprise, huh? She told me to come in for my second interview on Monday (11/3) and to bring another copy of my resume'. She lost the one I gave her. Maybe a rat climbed out of her desk and used it to make a nest. I showed up, on time, and waited. 45 minutes later, at the end of the morning sales meeting, the roughest most unintelligent sales force came out of the back, dressed like garbage men. The leader of the group was wearing a suit that badly needed an ironing. He must have slept in it.

So I was asked to sign a form agreeing that I was there to "observe" and was not guaranteed ANY money for the day. Nice "interview, " huh? Then I drive my own car to LEXINGTON (Lowe's Hardware off Winchester Rd) and meet a 23 year old girl named Kristin, and another trainee named Ronnie. I was convinced after meeting Ronnie that Orion would hire ANYONE. Saying Ronnie is dumber than a box of rocks is not being fair to the box of rocks, who deserves better. So from 11am until 6pm I was "interviewed" by Kristin. I was expected to STAND the entire time, outside in the cold, on concrete, and even PARTICIPATE in helping her sale, with no guarantee of ANY money for me. They do this to people like me, get them to help boost sales, and pay them NOTHING. When I asked why this was considered an "interview" she said I was "observing" although I helped do all kinds of things through the day, and that if I got a good reccomendation from her, I would be asked back for a "third interview." Whatever. I also was to come back to the office at 7pm and take a "test" on "the five steps" and "the eight steps." The 8 steps begin with "be on time, be prepared, work 8 hours..." I am surprised they didn't make it ten steps and remind you to eat dinner when you get home and get a good night's sleep!

I did meet her back at the office around 7, but apparently she knew I was on to their scam, because I apparently didn't get a good reccomendation. Kristin said "Jenni said she hired some other people and she would call you in the morning." The next day Jenni did NOT call. They are just liars. She spends all day every day hiring people to take advantage of, and once you are discarded she has no more time for you.

During lunch, Kristin told me that as a "field representative" I would make 35% of the amount I sale, and Jenni would make 45%. I asked how much "D.A.R.E." makes and I was told 20%. I later learned that this was a lie. It's 5%.

D.A.R.E. Is being scammed, countless applicants are being scammed, and the consumers are being scammed, thinking they are helping a charity when in fact only 1/20th of the amount they pay actually goes to D.A.R.E. Eventually, people will no longer donate to DARE because of what companies like Orion have done. Orion is affiliated with a company named "Quantum."

I will not stop until Orion, Quantum, and Jenni Moon are driven from this community.
