Debt from nys transit authority

I have just recieved 3 letters from NCO stating they were collecting a debt of $110 from the NYS transit authority. Now that is a Public transportation company (public bus, train) I called the NYS transit authority and thety thought i was crazy. They said they do not know what i could owe them money for since nobody rides for free. So I called NCO and finally got a person, but when i started talking about this bogis company they put me on hold then hung up on me. Has anybody else recieved this kind of debt and will it be on my credit report since it can not be validated? Please let me know.-Pissed Off
