After you buy the vehicle pretty much everything needing to be done to the vehicle will not be done. Dave and Owner Gregg do not hold true to their word and try to wait til the 30 day warrenty wears to prevent doing the repairs.
Went to Elite Motors and purchased a ML350 from Elite Motors. Before test driving i advised the sales man of what i was willing to spend he advised no probelm we can work something out. After test driving the truck we went in to look at numbers. Again I advised the sales man of what i wanted to spend very clearly and after all of that he tells me $3000 over what i was willing to spend. I expressed how upset i was and how it was a waste of my time when i was very clear at my price before test driving the vehicle. That should have been my clue right there.
I walked out of elite and got into my car because the asking price was more then i was willing to pay. The salesman "Dave" ran out to my car as i was backing out and and said " We can do everything out the door for $15500. I figured if they were willing to come down that much off the price for the type of car that i wanted i didnt want $500 to come between that. I was sweating from the heat and had 3 other places to go in search of a ML. The Carfax report was clean. So I agreed to the set price of $15500 for everything out the door and accepted the vehicle with conditions that cosmetic things would be fixed.
The CD changer was missing and promised to be replaced.
The Mercedes of Tampa dealership inspected the car and indicated things like new motor mounts and a oil change was badly needed. My salesman Dave, indicated he needed to speak to the manager and they had someone that could do it at a reasonable price. Because it is under there 30 day warrnty.
You will not beleive that when the tag came in the dealerhip tried to say they didnt inclue tag and tile fees and demanded an addional 200.00.
He ran out to my car and stoped me from leaving saying "everything for 15,500. Then completly denied ever saying it. Then showed me a buys order that indicats C.O. D that he had slid in.
Completly underhanded.
If i was willing to pay $500 differance an addtional $200 would not have been a problem.
Now its over 30 days and the only thing they have fixed was the pillars that were hanging.
They flat out lied and slid C.O. D into the buys order.
I had to pay for a spear key.
Then the rear driverside window exploded and accourding to Glass Doctors the door was missing screws that contribute to it.
The leather was refinished and is rubbing off at the touch. It looks horrible.
Still bad motor mounts
still no oil change
still no cd player or changer
out of pocket $378 fo the window.
Out of pocket $165 for the spare key.
Out of pocket $200.00 because i was forced to pay for the tag that was supposed to be included in the final price.
This was the worst experiance of my life and now that they have received the check from my bank and my check for the differance has cleared i get stories like the person i need to speak to went fishing or hunting with the owner, the owner is out of town, or a death in the family. When I call to speak to the salesman they put me on hold then transfer me to his voice mail when i call back they put on the "office is closed voicemail during business hours.
I just received a message from the 3rd party today 10/22 that they have no plans on replacing the radio that was supposed to be included. They rare not returning my call on the repairs to the motor mounts and other items badley needed that was covered under their 30 warrenty even though i advised them and they one week after i purchased the car.
Do not buy anything from elite auto. This was not just a bad experiance all together. I wish someone would have written a reivew before i considered purchashing from elite motors.
