I purchased a CD from Grant Master who charged me $1.00 and $1.29. Or so I thought. After I processed the purchase I never recieved a confirmation email as mentioned. So the next day I contact them to make sure they were legitamate. The Customer service rep assured me they were and said he would send me another email. I have never recieved an email. Several weeks later I check my bank account online and Businessfund has debited $7.95 out of my account. I contacted them again. This time I spoke to a supervisor that said she would refund me. The very next morning I check my account and EasyGrantSuccess has debited two seperate times for $39.95 and $20.00! I spoke to another supervisor who mentioned the person I spoke to the previous day, had discussed the $39.95 charge with me. Wrong! I politely told him it was never mentioned. Irvin (a spvsr) tells me the refund for both the $7.95 and $39.95 were processed that same day I called about the $7.95. I was not aware of the other charges until the following day. He disputes that they pulled out a seperate $20.00 and has no record of it. I was told to call back on monday and speak with a manager. But until I am able to get ahold of a manager they will not remove my bank account number! I was given a fax # and a first name (meagan) to fax my bank account info to! I told him I will not be faxing any more of my personal bank account information to them. To date they were only authorized to debit the $2.29. I was told that they sent me the email twice, at my request, which i have yet to recieve. According to them they tell you the disclosure in the email. No wonder I never got it! So I will be calling back Monday. Do they think that people are just handing out free money to them? To top it all of the CD is useless. Unless you live in Ohio, Illinois or Pennsylvania or you are indigent there are no grants for you, for anything. And the information you pay for is available online from legitament companies that dont charge you for it. So, I have get to see any refunds from them. And something tells me Im going to have to fight tooth and nail to get it. Ill keep you update with what happens, if anything.
