My Wife was visiting her family in Cali Colombia in Febuary when an Italian accented man went to the camp of my brother in law in Buga Colombia stating he had real Armani Jackets and was in Cali for a fashion show, but if he took the jackets back to Italy he would have to pay taxes, so he said he would sell the 4 jackets for $300.
He came to my sister-in-law's house in Jamundi (Cali Suburb) and sold them the jackets. She was excited and thought she could re-sell them for $500 each; They are nice jackets, but not Armanis. The material is nice, and it wasnt a bad price for 4 jackets, but it was under false pretenses and its unlikely she would have bought the jackets for resale if known they were false. We looked up Reportage R.G. A (on the label) and found these reports.
Again thge jackets are nice and not a bad value, but if you are buying them expecting nice resale profits, beware. We will likely sell the uneeded ones to friends, but on a truthful basis and hopefully can break even. Its amazing how this is world wide!
