This all started when I was contacted by the IRS regarding a business that went under. They said I owed over $20,000, which I did not have, and we had to get the problem resolved. Like most American's, I panicked. I happened to be watching TV, and get this. Jerry Springer, and who shows up but the ad for the barracuda, Roni Lynn Deutch.
I picked up the phone and talked to what turned out to be a qualifier. This is the person who asks a series of questions to raise your anxiety to need them. He tells you that the bevy of lawyers will look at you case and see if they can help you. I filled out a basic form, faxed it in and waited. No phone call the next day, so I just had to call my new 'friend' at Roni Lynn Deutch. He informed me that YES they can help me with my problem. All I need to do is get them $1000.00 right away and the bevy of attorneys will slay the IRS dragon. I did as I was told and mailed a thousand 'hard earned' dollars to the barracudas firm.
I received a box with a folder and a bunch of papers that had to be filled out and SIGNED. I filled them out as instructed, however noticing that many were duplicates of what was filled out in other sections. This roused my interest because I noticed right away that they are asking the same questions over and over.
The following week my IRS agent stopped in and saaid let's see what we could do to work all this out and end the problem. Was I scared? Hell yes. I told him I had a attorney, he asked me who and I said Roni Lynn Deutch. He just shook his head and said I should have gotten a local because things would move faster. Then he said that if I would listen to him, I can save a lot of money. His stance was that he controlled what would go on, not some attorney. I listened and followed the instructions he gave me.
The IRS agent gave me a couple pieces of paper to fill out for when he would come back in about 10 days. Holy cow, they were the SAME papers that Roni Lynn Deutch gave me to fill out. They were to see assets and liabilities from my old closed business. Bottom line folks, we settled on the $3,000 of assets that we took from the old business to the new one and THAT WAS IT.in the meantime I had to shovel $1700 to the barracuda law office of Roni Lynn Deutch. See, what this all boils down to is that the IRS knows exactly what they are going to do with you. They are not the evil three headed monster that sits on top of tall buildings, sweeps down and steals baby's for dinner. No that monster is Roni Lynn Deutch.
What they bill you for is a bunch of 'JUNK MAIL' that they send you every six days or so. The piece of junk mail that some high school kid stuffs in an envelope and mails to the address that's on the days mailings. BRILLIANT! Just simply brilliant. They justify the money that they take from you, with NO SIGNED CONTRACT from me remember, for sending useless pieces of paper to you. BRILLIANT! And when you question them, she sends her goon ambulance chasing attorney to handle you. Oh yes, they refunded me $185 of the $1,700 because they said that was all I was due.
Now remember, I never signed a contract with them, I never sent the filled out paper work back to them, I never received any assistance from a attorney (?) from them. Now, do think I was screwed? Just read all the stories that all spell the same story. Roni Lynn Deutch screwed me. Hell, she's not even good lookin'.
