Placed wedding gift order online, after speaking with a sales person on the phone. Immediately after placing order fiance changed her mind and wanted to use different gift. Used the websites method to cancel order within 15 mins of placing it. Later that day, received three e-mails from company that only said "error". Replied to company inquiring what the e-mails were about, got no response.
Two weeks later receive e-mail asking for information on the design of my purchase. I clarified that the order was canceled and gave them the request confirmation number given when using the "Cancel Order" option on the website. Was advised a day or so later that no refund would be given and I could only get a store credit, but I would still have to cancel my original order, they chose to put it on hold rather than cancel it on my first request.
They have since refused to respond. I have called the company, and you can only speak to sales people. You are continually refered back to the web site "ticket system" to cancel. It is a big scam that I am disputing with my credit card carrier currently.
