My complaint is against a so-called paralegal office.in July I decided to sue a mechanic that had kept property of mine after he had gone out of business. I called this paralegal office to help me. The name that they went by was Alliance Paralegal, but with further investigation on my own, it turns out there are at least three other names they use;
All Courts Paralegal Services, Absolute Professional Paralegal Services, and Advanced Paralegal Services. I believe these to be the same business. It would appear that every time a new phonebook would come out they would change the business name and number. A Mr. Daniel Gelruth came to my house to prepare my complaint for my lawsuit. They told me that I would not be able to sue for the fact that the man I had a complaint against was filing bankruptcy. They kept coming up with different scenarios for me to get my money without sueing. Not knowing anything about legal procedures I thought everything was good. After everything that I had gone through with them they finally told me that I would have my chance in bankruptcy court on 12/21/07. I had heard nothing from them and when I would try to call them they would hang up the phone. Needless to say I did not have my day in court. I take some responsibility for my actions, I should have done more research before hiring a paralegal or perhaps gone straight to a lawyer. I'm sure that I will never see my money from this paralegal office or from the mechanic that I was originally going to sue, I just hope that some kind of justice can be served so that this doesn't happen again to another individual. These are the ones that I know of, there could be more. I found these because I happened to notice that two of them had numbers that I already had for the same business. With further research I found the others because of similar advertisements in the phone book. I have some doubt that Daniel Gelruth is a real name. I also have doubt that these people have any business license. After Daniel, I only dealt with one person and she told me her name was Gina. When I finally thought that I was being scammed, I asked what her full name was and she refused to give it. I would appreciate any help in this matter even if only to prevent this from happening again.
