I've been thinking so hard about getting my children a puppy, the day i decided to do it was on Aug 19 me and my 2 year old son sat out not to return home until we found a puppy. We started out searching at 11:00am @ clarksville vets, then calling numbers in the news paper, ft campbell, ky army base animal shelter, and dover rd in clarksville, the animal vet just to name a few, unfortuly we returned home around 6:30pm empty handed. The next day while at work my sister called and told me to go on ftcampbellyardsale.com in which she had sent me the link and there was an add saying 9 week puppy for sale, i emailed the lady and she called me back. We decided that should would give me the puppy only the black and white one, not the brown one for $50.00, so i said yes.
When i took him home i notice he had the runs, do i said to the kids maybe its because he has to get use to us. The next day he was just laying around and i said i think i'm going to take him to the vet. When we got there they check him over and said he was badly dehydrated and his test states that he has a paracites and i would have to monter him and he was but on 3 differents meds, the doctors said he didn't just get it he has had it for about 3 weeks and he is to sick to have his first shots, that if he gets better we can do it then.
I called the lady the next day and told her what had happen, that the bill was $98.58 and she stated she was selling them for a friend and they were not her puppies that she could give me the $50 back and she would have to get in touch with her friend to talk to her about the pet bill but she was trying to reach her friend because someone wanted the other two days that were left but her friend phone was disconnect and she would go by her job and house to see if she can find her. I told her that she needs to have the other puppies seen because there sick.
I have been calling and texting here every since and she has not responed. I want to keep the dog but i think i'm entittled to some of my money back, because i wouldn't have brought him if i knew he was sick. I think it was wrong of them to sell him sick.
