Former Sales Rep. Tell all deceptive sales practices, Fraudulant misrepesentation of products, Broken MD laws, liars thieves

I am a former Sales Rep., I spent over a week training and as soon as I ran a few leads and saw how out of line the pricing was and the fact that we had to lie and mislead customers about the products and when I approached management to advise them it was against the law to do so and I wanted to tell customers the real savings amount, I was told I couldn't change the script in any way. I also told them there was another complete lie about workers comp laws in the sales pitch and was told the same "don't change a word"Now for the good stuff; The diamond Barrier product they sell is 1 overpriced you can pay them upwards of $3.00 per square foot or order it from radiant guard for $128.00 for 1000 Square feet that's. 12 cents vs 3 dollars wow what a profit! They will show you a study done by the James Hall of the Tennessee Valley authority. The study they will show you was supposedly done on the diamond barrier product, when in fact wasn't. I contacted Mr Hall and until I called he had never heard of Diamond Barrier. After explaining to him the reason for my call I was told they tested a similar product approximately 22 years ago. Why did I call you ask? DHC shows the study done by them on one side of the paper and on the other side it shows the test results and the claim that the Diamond Barrier product will save you 44% on you energy cost when installed directly over the insulation in your attic and there are some other percentages with other variables but the 44% was what bothered me. I had gone to the Diamond Barrier web site and they claim savings no where near that number. After speaking further with Mr Hall he told me that those were not the result he got from the similar product and that you could expect to have an actual savings of about 5 to 10% 5 being for most people. So lets recap they will show and tell you about a study that shows 44% savings when its really only like 5% and it wasn't done on their product. So them telling you 44% is fraudulent product representation and that is a violation of Md home improvement law. They will also try to scare you away from dealing with a small company by telling you that in Md if a company has less then 3 employees that they need not carry workers compensation insurance and if someone gets hurt they will sue you and you will loose you home owners insurance policy. Well folks I know for a fact the only person who does not need to have workers comp. Is the owner of a company. Every employee has to be covered even if theres only 1 person working for you. Them knowingly telling you that is a clear violation of the law. I have spoke to the head guy at The Maryland Home Improvement Commission and he verified that they are breaking the law by fraudulent misrepresenting any products and also by telling customers that a company with less then 3 employees do not have to carry the workers comp. Please do yourself a favor and save 2-4 hours of your life and dont let these thief's into your home. Heres a little insight they will charge you about double what another reputable company would for a near identical product for windows and siding. Then on top of the $1000 for a decent window or $700 to$800 for 1 square of siding they will also tack on $2-4000 for salesman commission and they have to give half of that back to the company. If its a small job say 1 square and the par is 700 for the siding then 150 for the ad pack and then another $ 500 for what they call GOK (god only knows). So for 1 square thats 10 feet by ten feet you would pay $1350 before the added salesman commission and as I was told "just double it since it wouldnt be fair to add 2g's" that was from the sales manager So the total would be $2700 for 1 square and you would have to add another $200 if you were more then 50 miles from the office. Wow you could buy everything you need to to do the work yourself for less then $250. I thinl home depot is about $600-$700installed vs $2700. If they knock on your door asking you if you would like a free estimate slam the door in their face! It's not free theres the hours of your time and then the way too high pricing and then you would pay for the "ad pack" which means you paid for them to call or knock on your door. That ad pack is added into every price as is the 10% or $350 discount. And the Day of Demonstration discount of 10% and another 7% in case you finance thats added into the price too before hand which is also illegal I would think so take a job that cost $3500 they add 10,10, 7% bringing the price to over $4235 (finance charge not added) plus thats when they add the $ 1500 commission so now the first price you see will be $5735 they then give you 10% off for the everyday coupon so its now $5192 then the day of demo 19% brings it to $4573, After that the salesman would make $1073 and they would have to split it with the company. I forgot the salesman is suppose to take the $3500 par and multiply it by 1.25 then add in all the stuff I mentioned because as you can see the commission didnt come out to $1500 which is suppose to the minimum for the guardian product.By doing it this way they are not actually giving you any discount it only appears that way. As far as the Gutter Guardian product goes its a good product just over priced! I'm tired and have already wasted 2 weeks of my life with this company and dont want to waste any more so please beware they are a RIP OFF!!!
