Defective Windows and Defective Concern

I hired Hanson's thinking that a company that large must be upstanding. My mistake, their moral standing is lying down! The sales person that came out was a decent fellow, I didn't really give him a chance to get too pushy with me and I already had a few quotes under my belt. They do, however, make the tacky and quite offensice mistake of assuming that a woman is a MRS., even though that is not always true.

The windows were installed by a very neat, very timely man. There was a defective window that I noticed right away and he assured me it would be re-ordered and installed within 3 weeks. It is now 5 weeks later. Also, when I called them to complain about an issue with the rest of the windows, they would NEVER call back or want to do anything.

They finally sent a crew out that made the situation worse. Also, they sent a representative from the manufacturer, Dick Egan, and he broke some of my personal property. He even admitted it, but said he "didn't see what the big deal was". Then Mike Pence, who says he an owner of Hanson's called and said I was a crazy woman for getting upset over my house being damaged and hung up on me.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau and only after then did Brian Elias return any of my e-mails. I have now hired a lawyer and am suing for property damage and the cost of the defective windows.

Use (competitor's namee redacted), use, go to or and hire them to do it... Find a local handy-man. Any would do better than these "clowns".
