This Place is a scam. They do the classic bait and switch. I called over two weeks ago to place an order for the 47LG60, I was "lucky" enough to talk to Lewis. He told me that LG has a newer model that is only $70 more talking about the 47LG70.
The next day I called back to be told that I had really bought a 47LG70 PK. This is a nice upgrade Lewis tells me, it will turn all of your movies and channels that are not 1080p into 1080p.
I was a bit confused, I looked on LG's website to see that there is not a PK model. I called LG to be told that they do not make any such item.
I called Lewis back for a tracking number for my purchase, it was 4:30pm. He told me that customer service must have shut down their computers early today so he can not look up the tracking number and to call him back tomorrow and he will look it up.
The next day I called back asking Lewis for the tracking number, he sent me over to customer service where I wait on hold for 15 min. When I finally get someone I get an answer that they do not provide a tracking number for expedited shipping so soon. I have to wait 5 business days, which is tomorrow (Friday) and I will get an email at 5:00. I check the next day for the tracking and wouldn't you know it no email and customer service is closed. A $2000 purchase with no tracking number what a joke.
On Monday I called projector export at least 10 times, calling customer service and Lewis, getting nobody. I called one last time at 7:45 finally getting Lewis. I told him that I do not want the TV, he told me that he can't do anything about it because the computer system just shut down 10 min ago, surprise surprise. I then told him that I was submitting this to my credit card company for fraud. He said whatever and hung up on me!
On Tuesday Aug 19th, I called customer service, they told me that they dont know anything, and I have to talk to Lewis. They sent me over to him, where I told him that this is not a New TV, he said it is brand new but they put a special chip in it. He also told me that I am an ignorant, and I dont know anything about anything. He said who calls 12 times wondering about their $2000 purchase and is wondering why they dont have a tracking number or being charged for a New TV when in reality it is a refurbished TV with an extra bolt in the back that they are charging $1000 for.
I tried to tell Lewis that I would be contacting the Attorney General's office and coming after Projector Export, he continued to be arrogant and not letting me say a single word.
Do not get involved with this company, please fill out a form and send it to the Attorney General in New York to prosecute this company for thier illigal business practices. We can again buy with confidence if we all band together.
