Received an envelope mailed from Canada with nothing preprinted on it.inside was a letter from "Associated World Sweepstakes" saying I had won a drawing held by "North American Utilities". It gave my ticket number with serial number as the winning ticket. Enclosed was a check that looks real for $4,865 to cover charges/fees on my $46,500 winnings. The check is from the "Bank of Texas N.A." and drawn on an account for "Associated Truss & Lumber". The address for Associated Truss & Lumber is the same as the address for Associated World Sweepstakes. Associated Truss & Lumber has a web site talking about their roof, floor, truss, lumber, etc. Business.
The letter tells you to keep your winning confidential and call Mrs. Anita Brown or Mr. Peter Woods at the number listed. It is signed by Larry Lavaltry, Director Public Relations.
