A salesman came into my neighborhood representing the company True Vision, Inc. He gave some sad story that he had been in prison and the company he was working for was helping him to get back on his feet.
He was selling magazine subscriptions. Even though the cost of the magazines were higher than normal, we were told that it would help him out, so we were suckered in to feeling sorry for him and bought 4 subscriptions for a total of $120.
The date was November. The invoice stated to allow up to 120 days for delivery. It also stated to notify True Vision, Inc if delivery was not received within 120 days, and entitled to delivery or refund.
I have made dozens of calls to the company and have spoken to 3 different people. Everyone has a different story. I believe they are hoping I get tired of calling and will give up. I feel they have no intention of refunding me the money. The check has been cashed and we have not received any of the magazines as of todays date.
Buyer beware of this "so called" company.
I have learned to "just say No" and not to feel pressured or guilty.
