Dennis Block advertises free phone consultation, called to ask a question, seven days later, recieved invoice for $595.00.. When I called his office to ask what the $595.00 invoice was for, his associate used such foul langage, I called back to speak with someone else, she was just as foul mouth. They then told me that a case had been filed and tenate was served, this was done with out my knowledge... I had only called to ask a question..
Now I see why they ask for details before they will answer your question. When I asked for a copy of noticed they served they sent me a copy of a fraudulant notice dated the day I called and said served 2 days after call, only after I called to find out about invoice 5 days later in am did they send a server to my tenants at 2:30 pm that afternoon.
All this was done without my permission. Then Dennis sent a copy of the fraudulant notice of service He also sent threatening email stating I would be sorry if check wasnt recieved in his office by the Monday. His law firm must be in fianancial trouble if he has to resort to this kind of scam. (This is just my opinion)
I am not spreading lies about him or his firm, this is what happened after I called for free advice. We never had a verbel or written agreement between us. Not sure what he was going to do, when he threaten me with I would be sorry, just so my perfect credit would not be ruined, I sent check... Southern calif. (He only has L. A office with direct local phone lines to make you think he has an office in your area,)
