I am financing a car through wachovia dealer services. I tried to pay a bill on july 3rd. Apparently it did not go through. I was not notified by email, luckily I checked on payment in time and called them, they said that I forgot to put in the last four digits of my account number, really? Anyway, they wanted to charge me to put the payment in over the phone, I said no and put it in online again. I still had a couple of days before the payment would be late and assessed fees.

Two days later I checked again, apparently the payment still did not go through. I called again, same thing, they said I did not put in the last four digits, this time I actually had a screenshot handy of the confirmation screen with the last four digits and wanted to send it so that they could see proof and address the problem, obviously there was an issue with the website. Apparently they can't receive emails... What? Where are they, 1987? Anyway, they offered to take payment over the phone (no charge after I complained) So what happened?

Another two days later still no payment posted, The have no information under the pending payment links, they never do, so customers can not track payment history. Also still no confirmation emails, nothing. On top of that, there used to be an option to pay using last used bank information, no longer an option, now you have to put it in new each time, this just changed overnight actually, was there yesterday, this also prevents the customer from seeing what account information they have recorded, this way they can claim anything they want and you have to accept it, "i'm sorry sir you didn't put in your account number you drew a picture of a duck, we can't accept that as payment, We'll need all your money and your car, thanks."

Interestingly when I tried to get with IT they transferred me to collections, then put me on hold forever before another rep picked up. He told me that the second payment went through and asked me to cancel the last payment, I said no because I did not trust him. Today, 4 days later still no payment reflected on the account, the bill is now late and I will be getting on the phone again to be treated rudely, accused of lying, assessed late fees, probably make another payment and get nothing resolved, I will continue to post here so that you guys can follow along to the point where wachovia ruins my credit, repos my car, and we end up in court, all while I am still trying to make payments every couple of days probably.

This should be interesting, calling now..
