I went to this restaurant today (01/02/08) and ordered six of their $1.99 specials, which are and have been posted on their window for months. The sign states this is valid from 11am until 3pm, and nowhere on it does it state there is a limit. I have been there numerous times before and never had a problem with this.
The clerk informed me that they "are only allowed to sell 2 of these at a time." I went back and looked at the sign again to verify that it did not list a limit, and I went back to the clerk, stated this and asked to speak to the manager. I was given a man to talk to, and he also stated that "his manager" had told him they could only sell two at a time.
I asked to speak to the manager again, and he informed me the manager was not there and he was the manager today. It is obvious to me that this restaurant has no management, and all he did was make sure I will never return to this restaurant. I will make my displeasure known to anyone I come in contact with.
