Universal Intertrade, Wilson Gifford And Melinda Cobb
National lotto co-operation sweepstakes lottery held on june 21st

I received a letter from Universal Intertrade dates 7/07 telling me that I was one of 10 winners to share in a total prize money of $1.5 US Dollars or $150,000 to me. They enclosed a check in the amount of $4,983.98 that would be deducted from my winnings to enable me to pay the applicable government taxes and fees. The tax amount of $2,996 was to be paid to the tax agent, Wilson Gifford and his telephone number is 1-289-885-0006. The letter was signed but not with the closing name of Mrs Melinda Cobb.

I called the bank the check was drawn on and was told that it is a counterfeit check and that they would appreciate a copy of the check and the letter for their investigation. Greenup National Bank is now named First Neighbor Bank in Greenup, IL.
