During the first week of July, my son and I went to Aaron's (3027 S Cicero Ave.), where I already have an account, to purchase a TV. After waiting for them to open at 10 am, we talked to a very nice salesperson who tried to help my son, for the second time, find the TV he was interested in. This was our second visit to this store. We did not find the TV at this store, where I have the account, but at another Aaron's, and the TV would then be transferred to this store.
After all the paperwork was done, and after the time my son and I put in going from one store to the next, the sales manager, Sara, decided I had a past-due balance from another store a couple of years ago. I have gotten living room furniture, bedroom furniture, stereos and 3 TVs from Aaron's, and many friends and relatives have purchased merchandise there. This young lady has done this to us twice and wasted our time. After dealing with her, I just want to pay off my bill and never hear the name Aaron's again.
I just learned from my son that the same store manager did this to him when he tried to open an account there, leaving me to believe we were simply the wrong color at the wrong store. My friends and relatives will no longer get anything from Aaron's. My next step will be the media. My son and I are in the medical field, and when we take care of our patients, we see no color. It should be like this when you are working with the public.
