I received a letter claiming I was chosen to be a Mystery Customer shopper. The letter said to call 1-289-242-7910 ext 102 then press 1. The letter had a check with it for $4998.00 and spending tasks to follow:
Salary / Training pay 300.00
WalMart... 50.00
Gap Purchase... 40.00
Western Union... 1579.00
Service Fee for WU. 99.00
MoneyGram Transfer 2873.00
Service Fee for MG. 57.00
Total 4998.00
It was even a Cashiers check. This check is drawn on Big Sky Western Bank.
I cash the check and a couple weeks later it came back as bad/altered. I didn't have the money to pay it back so, I was arrested for forgery, a bad check and theft by deception. I have to end up with a police record because of some scum low lifes out there. Don't let this happen to you.
