Complaint / Review
Hydroderm
60 days means 60 days

It seems to me that Hydroderm likes to trick customers. 60 days doesn't mean 60 days to them. On April 25, I placed my first order. On April 28th, Hydroderm shipped the order, on same day, they billed my mastcard for 5.95. So far, so good. I knew about 60 days rule, so I figured that I have until June 26th or June 27th to cancel if I wish to stop the next order.

SURPRISE, I got alerted by my mastercard that 74.95 was charged by hydroderm on June 18th! I called them to complain and they said "too late to stop the order." I told them that they gave me NO CHANCE to cancel on timely manner because 60 days is 60 days. They gave me the excuse that they ship it 10 days in advance to arrive at my home by 60th days, To me, it's the most insane excuse I ever heard of! They shortchanged us by denying us the right to cancel in 60 days by shipping it out on day 50 (or thereabout.)

Needless to say, I told them that since it was not agreed on, I will definally return the product. I got the RMA number from them and upon the advice of Postal Clerk, she told me, just write the RMA on package and they will stick a "postage due" for Hydroderm to pay for it. This way, we can hope I won't be billed for return postage.in addition, you can say that they "kicked" me out by sending me a cancellation letter.

Since then, Hydroderm had been refusing to answer all my emails and phone calls.

On June 22nd, I wrote to Hydroderm, using the online support and wrote:
60 days means 60 days.

I placed my first order on April 25th and the first shipping was on April 28th. Sixty days from April 28th is June 27th. Shipping it on June 17th was 10 days too early. For that reason alone.By saying every 60 days and not following the promise, its a breach of agreement. Breach of agreement equals unauthorized transaction.

Hydroderm also breached my rights to cancel within reasonable time, in which Hydroderm states that I can cancel up to no less than 24 hours before scheduled shipping date. See first paragraph of https://secure. Hydroderm.com/help/index. Cfm? Action=help&help=billing#cancel. I was NEVER given any scheduled shipping date, only estimated shipping date, in email, dated April 25th. Scheduled and estimated dates are NOT same thing and for that reason, my rights to cancel were breached.

Because I was not expecting the next shipping or billing against my account until June 27th or 28th, recent transaction is unauthorized.

To recap:

Hydro breached agreement twice didn't keep 60 days and denied my rights to cancel on timely manner.

The package came on June 20th, I refused the package and the postmaster wrote RMA #2077397, on package. I refused to pay postage to have it returned. Also, please note that my membership with Hydroderm was canceled on June 17th. I do not have cancellation number but I do have cancellation email from Hydroderm.

I expect a FULL REFUND of what I paid — $74.95 as soon as possible.

Now it's June 27th, still no refund and according to Mastercard, I am not able to dispute the charge yet because that transaction is still "in flight" whatever that means.
