I received a cashiers check for $4998 in the mail with two pieces of paper telling me they are a Mystery Customer employment firm and they want to pay me $300 salary and training. But the remaining funds are tasks to be completed. But before the check can be cashed I must call the number listed above and give them the check number. Then I was told by a gentleman who didn't speak well like broken english to make 3 copies of the customer service evaulation which ws included with the check and to call them back when I have the cash in my hands.
Soon as I hung up I verfied the funds and a lady answered asked for the check number and who the check was made out to and then told me the funds were available. After that I looked the company up on the internet and nothing came up. I looked up and address and a hotel and casino appeared. Then I put in $4998 check scam and I found this site. I am very disappointed to know my information is floating around for someone to use in a scam. I am glad I looked into this before cashing the check because I sure could have used the money. If you receive one of these checks please do not cash it. This is a scam.
