I am sending you a complaint about what I feel is misleading and deceptive sales practices. I signed up to receive a Grant Master Software CD for just $1.29 shipping and a $1.00 processing fee on April 3. My email receipt, dated April 5, Order # 2112478, refers to a total chare or Order Total of $2.29. I do not recall seeing any disclosures referencing a limited trial offer or additional fees. I have been to usacomplaints.com and seen several similar complaints from December through June. I also reveiwed your comments in your rebuttal/resolutions. I reveived the CD within 5 days of my initial contact. Subsequently, I noted on my credit card account some strange fees at the end of April and immediately filed a dispute with the financial institution handling my credit card. The fees at that time were $7.95 Business Funding, $9.95 Network Agenda.com St. George UT and $39.95 Easygrantsuccess. I am still in contact with credit card provider over these charges and other subsequent charges totaling $155.65 through a posting date of June 18.
I have not used the services offered by Grant Master or Raven Media in that I have not veiwed the CD nor have I visited any of the sites referred to as part of a membership. I have contacted your customer service department and cancelled all future service from you entities as of June 23. I am requesting that your company please provide a credit back to my account for $155.65 as of June 18, since I received no benefit or service from your company other than the receipt of the Grant Master CD which was $2.29, shipping and processing.
Based on the number of complaints found on usacomplaints.com, Raven Media may want to initiate a more effective disclosure of its charges and services for the consumer. Thank you for handling this matter in a professional and courteous manner.
