I brought my 11mt old dog to cares yesterday for a bee sting bite which throw into shock. When we walked in they took her to the back (you never see your animal you have to go by hear say!!!) After about 1? 2 hr a Dr comes out and I might ad laughing at this point Your dog is very very sick we will give her a iv and monitor her but she is very very sick she s not responding well. I told her there was a possibilty it could have been something else but my husband saw here react to a bee and put her inside were she had her reaction. She said well we will have to run 3 or more test to find out what is wrong She would have to stay cause shes sooo sick I couldn't let you take her I asked about cost you will have pay today if you took herbut if she stays1/2 down of her treatment I asked how much and told her the most I could afford today was $100.00. Her reply was you are already at $212.00 She could need emergency sergery if its something she ate are an infection from her period. So I asked if she stayed to get her to her vet are they did test what was the cost $600-$800 upward to $3000 was her reply. You can put her down for 65.00 she is very very sick I can't say she'll make it thrugh the night! At this point my daughter is crying her eyes out as it's her dog. I'm crying cause I don't have any money my husband at home crying what can we do no money the dog was find 2 hours ago. So after another 1/2 hour she says wait and hour and see what happens so we wait and wait again shes very very sick
I said just give me my dog i shes going to die she'll die at home its already 212.00 So of corse they get really mad and say you need to sign a wavier your taking a dog that very very sick etc. Finally afeter a nother hour I get my dog who at this point is at least sitting up. I bring her home shes walking around lays down for about hour gets up drinks water gies opttie I wake up at 300am for work she eating her food goes out side, I come home from work shes running around the house playing like nothing ever happen (They did give her benadril whch would have made her groggy!!! If I would have listen to these @! *! People I would have paid thosands of dollars are almost put my dog down for NO reason. How do these people stay in buisness!!! 1
