I went on to check my Checking account and found a charge for $4.95 from BESTDIGIMARTDOTCOM. I never purchased or authorized purchase of anything from this merchant so I called the bank.
The bank advised me to immediately report my card lost/stolen and dispute the charge. I called and canceled the card and I disputed the charges made to my account.
I was advised to complete some forms and try contacting BESTDIGIMARTDOTCOM. The number on their website is bogus so I sent them an email. I am presuming I will not here from them as I look through the other people's posts.
I have seen posts that this is a sort of fishing scam where they find a debit/credit card number and see if it works with a little purchase that someone might not catch. Then they charge the heck out of the account.
The website is www.bestdigimart.com if anyone is doing research due to a similar charge.
