I placed an order for a Dirt Bike on the website USA-pocket-bikes.com. The website states the only way to cancel an order is if they are unable to ship the item within 5 business days.
I placed my order on June 1st. The very next day they provided me with a tracking # for Fedex. I waited 2 days then went online to Fedex.com to track my package and it had not shipped. I then sent an email to the company and they replied that all orders are usually shipped within 72 hours.
I sent an email to this company everday there after. The company alwasy replied that the item had shipped and fedex had not updated their website.
On Monday June 9th, I contacted them to cancel the order. They advised me that if they cancel the order then I would be charged a 30% restocking fee. HOW can they charge me a 30% restocking fee when they hadnt shipped the item.
The representative Mark assured me that the item was shipped. I advised that Alex sent me an email saying the item did ship on June 6. Mark then stated that Alex did not know what he was talking about because the dirt bike was out of stock and they had sent my order to their Texas warehouse and it was shipping that day.
Needless to say on June 10th I s/w Fedex and confirmed they did not have the package. I called the company back and was able to s/w Alex who advised he would send my Refund Request to Russel or Phil to be processed.
1 hour after s/w Alex, Fedex picked up the package. I allowed them their 5 days to ship and they still refused to cancel my order. Only to state they will charge me a 30% restocking fee.
I made numerous attempts to contact them and now they wont respond to my emails or phone calls.
After everything I have read I am sure if the bike ends up at my home it will be damaged.
I have contact the Attorney General's Office in CA about this merchant and will do what i have to for my refund.
They have a policy and then dont uphold it. Their website states "We pride ourselves in bringing you the best products, along with the best service, at the best prices available. WHAT A JOKE!!!
To everyone reading, do your self a favor and stay clear of doing business w / this merchant.
