Duane Green was working with a general contractor, who was working with some of my neighbors and myself. Two of us wanted estimates on our driveways. Duane was given $1000 without my permission and without a contract from the general contractor.
When the error was noticed I called the general contractor, who called D. Green & Sons to cancel. The guy showed up at my house 2 weeks later and was turned away by security. He got in the following day and started to rip up my driveway. I ran outside and told him to leave. He brushed me off and continued.
I immediately called security and had him escorted off my property. Two days later I returned home from work to find my driveway paved. My neighbors reported immediately that no stones were used, only tar dropped and rolled. The driveway appeared to be an inch deep. Shortly after Mr. Green appeared at my door demanding cash! I told him I had no intention of paying him anything and was offended.
I explained I was on my way out and would deal with this issue the following day, telling him that my fiance would be there and he could speak with him. That enraged him. He began screaming he was going to come back with a backhoe and pull out the driveway and run it into my home. He started to pace, throwing his arms around saying he knew all teh troopers and cops in teh area and they wouod destroy me.
He threatened to find me at my job and thrash me there. I reported the incident to both the state police and local township police. Ironically, they only know Mr. Duane Green from his other scams and not on the 'friendly' terms he indicated.
When I reported this to our local security I was informed he has done this before to someone else in the community. Watch out people. If anyone named D. Green & Sons comes near your property tell him to go away. Do not give him any money, he has many reports filed that he takes the security deposits and disappears.
