I take care of my mothers bills who lives in Kansas, and recieved a bill from Assetcare, Inc claiming that she owed a bill to AT&T for a phone number that she has not had in over 3 years.
I pretty much knew that this had to be some kind of scam because at the top of the letter it said that it could be settled for 40% of the bill right off the bat. No collection agency will offer to settle with you right off the bat like that.
I will not pay for this bill and recommend all of you others do not as well.
