I recently got a bill from Assetcare, Inc./InoVision-MedClr-Portfolio Group, LLC, ACS Primary Care Phys SW that they claimed was from Nov. Of for my handicapped son who has autism, which was ridiculous since I never took him to the hospital then. They told me that my insurance paid only half the bill and that I owed this, I asked for confirmation and they said to call the insurance provider and take it up with them. I did and was told that they had no record of any claim from that time, and when I checked with the hospital they said I was all paid up and that it wasn't even from their collection agency and it might be from an emergency room doctor, but didn't have any contact info.
So, I decided to look online for a contact number and discovered that this is a scam company that has tried this same thing to others. Not only have I submitted this report here, but I've also notified the BBB of them.
