At 10pm on a Friday night in the middle of October at least 4 but possibly up to six officers drove by my house and parked at least two, possibly 3, unmarked police vehicles a few houses down and at least one more parked before it reached my house. I was outside in my driveway when three to four officers approached my house from the left and two more from my right. They asked if I was Shannon and I said yes. They were all Mesa Police officers, at least two gang squad, and they drove all the way to my home in Chandler. For What?
They asked for someone that I know but dislike very much. They suggested he lived at my home and wanted to "go in and take a look" to be sure that I did not have this jerk in my house. When I said no they badgered me and told me I was hiding something.
They continued to ask me who was in the house and they would not leave my property after I asked them to several times. Well obviously it made someone a little pissy because Detective Bellows started pacing in front of my neighbors house stating, very loud, that I had a criminal background that included theft and burglary.
That really made me look bad in front of my neighbors that were outside and if were true I probably would not be sending this. Detective Bellows obtained his information from police contact records. He never bothered to research these records because he would have known that during that time I was a district manager for a fast food chain. Along with D.M. Title I was a key holder, first call on the contact list with the alarm company, and the victim in any break in, etc. That occurred that required a key holder to respond.
There is way to much to put down so lets just get to the end of this. Bellows sergeant, Omitt, was present and took over when he saw Bellows wasn't handling things well. He was alot nicer but still had the same attitude as Bellows. The other officers stood at the edge of my driveway the whole time. As they were finally leaving sgt. Omitt drove toward my driveway and pulled the front wheels barley in to let out his siren one time.
I called Chandler P.D. And they were un aware of Mesa P.D. Going to my address. I called Mesa P.D. And they had no idea at first what I was talking about, but after putting me on hold for several minutes had a vague idea that 2 officers had been to my residence.
If you need to know the rest contact me. Bottom line, I am an upstanding citizen, I have a family, a full time job, and no criminal background. I now have the image of someone that does in my neighborhood. I am in the process of filing a formal complaint and I will not back down.
