After dealer gave me run around for 3 months, and many phone calls to company in sept of 1999, they sent out a factory field person jim griffy to look at the problems and to smooth things over with promises of fixing thing that was wrong with this home, when it left the factory home # 50141 abf
I have a certified letter with 54 items listed that needed to be fixed before you could live in home, after and atemp was made by one of their field repair persons he was getting no where, I called several goverment reps -sentor, s congressmen they didn, t want to offer any advice or help, finally got a person from hud, sent the list i have and he set up a appointment with fairmont reps and gave them until dec-7 to complete the repairs or face a fine company sent in a crew of 4 people they got by the inspection on dec 7 the crew had to come back in may to re do some of roof, which leaked about aweek after they finished roof repairs I moved in dec 99 and have been still finding things wrong.
What I learned, buy from a dealer in your home state. Don, t buy fairmont homes in any state, I can show you 3 more homes in area all junk, no help from fairmont homes Inc
