This is a joke! I purchased an HP laptop from a store in Henderson, NV in June. From day one, this computer would just crash in the middle of doing something. At first I just used it for pleasure. I would restart, but did talk with HP several times during that first year. Then I started working at home and using it for work. It kept crashing. So in early March, I sent the computer to a facility as directed for a new hard drive.in less than a day it crashed again. I was instructed to send it back to same facility (for another hard drive). After 5 minutes it crashed again. I called in and tech dialed in and while on phone with me it crashed on him. He then said I would have to send it to a different place. But I was also told if it crashed again it would go under lemon law. WELL - 5 minutes after turning on it crashed again - same old thing. I'm then told that the place who fixed it has 90 days to make it good. BASICALLY, I use this computer to work, haven't had it since 3/1/08 in working condition. Went to store locally, mgr said she would give me a credit to get a new one, now I'm told that the $1,200 is more than they can do at store level and it is in the Regional Managers hands. Funny, I haven't even had a courtesy call from him. They had no problem taking the $1,200 so I can only assume that their merchandise is NOT as good as my money. I am furious and I will not give up until I post this everywhere.
