Judge Jerry Moncus i believe to be violating a lot of peoples constitutional rights, he denies you continuances he denies you trial by superiour court denies you of legal counsel, even after going over all your right before court he still does this. I think something should be done. He called me to court i tryed paying a trafick ticket for no tag a fine of $87.00 he wrote on my ticket do not let pay must come to court because of prior convictions whickh i think is totally unfair he singled me out. He then sentenced me to 1 yr probation after i told him i wasnt employed and give me a $1000.00 dollar fine i reported every week then i had a tag stolen and i was charge with some infractions and bonded out he seen me in jail and called probation himself and told them to revoke me when i came in to report i was arrested about 1 that day and was before him in the jail for court ny 2 pm he shook his head repeatedly when i tryed explaining but said i had no respect for the law i begged for mercy of the court but he revoked 313 days of my sentence to be spent in jail!!! Over a $87 dollar ticket i could have paid and they are drug dealers rapist and otheres out here on bond but i was in jail over a $87 dollar ticket tell me what wrong with that if you went to whitfield county i bet a big percent of people doin time in there are probationers he has sent to jail for petty crimes and they wonder why our jail is over crowded. This Jerry Moncus practices law during the other days hes not a judge he is an attorney to defend people so plz someone tell me how can that be fair an attorney and a judge cant be right or can it thats messed up i think someone needs to do something im gonna write as many people as i need to till iget someones attention to get something done of this matter basically my opinion i think he is Crooked!!! Along with some others in the area. This is my opinion and im entitled to it according to our constitution but ill probally be jail for writing this who knows but i promise i will not stop writing till i get something done if i have to i will get upi a petition of people who feel the same as i do tot prove its not just me! Anyone with advice or help would be appreciated!
