Back in September a young guy came into my job and told me he was selling discounted magazine subscriptions to help defray costs of a trip to Europe for him and his University class. He also said that if he wins the contest (of selling the most subscriptions) he would send all of us (buyers) a postcard from the country of our choice. His promotion price was - buy two magazine subscriptions, get one free. So I ordered a total of 3 magazines to the tune of $52.00. I have my canceled CASHED cheque and the bank tells me there is nothing that they can do. What can WE do? I know of at least 2 other people in the plaza where I work that were taken as well.
I will never, ever, ever buy from anyone that comes around selling anything ever again.
