These companies are all run under the same corporation. I've yet to be able to find out what the main company is. The company is definitely unlicensed in Nevada and they also work out of Miami, OK, and they are unlicensed there too.
There are papers at your bank to file to stop any unauthorized payments from coming out of your account. I know you authorized them in the beginning, but go ahead and fill out the forms and tell the bank the company has been stealing money from you. That's all you have to say, tell them you want as much of your money back as possible. I think you can get up to 60 days refunded back to your account.
Next, when the payday loan company calls your home or cell, tell them you called your state financial regulator and found that they are not licensed and cannot take any more funds from you.
Each time they call you, ask for the original paperwork to be mailed to you, via UPPS only. No, you cannot get anything via email. Tell them you can only accept a copy of the *signed* contract that bears your signature, via US postal mail (USPS). See what they say then (smile).
They are taking people for a ride because no one wants to go through the trouble to find out the laws to protect themselves. They cannot report anything to your credit report and if they send to a collection agency that's even better. Now, they must submit the original paperwork, with your signature that can match your driver's license. Once you send something to a collection agency, that agency must proove that it's your account. OK, just say it's not yours and you need to see the contract with your signature because you do not know what they are talking about.
