My boyfriend and I looked in the New Times and saw a job ad that promised greatness. When we called they promised money, fun, and a guaranted trip home. After talking to Mike on the phone we jumped up and packed our bags because we were going to travel the country for free and make money.
We had fun for a while then we realized selling magazines door-to-door was not for us. We both figured we would keep trying to make the best of it. Then early monday morning we found out that my boyfriends mom was going to have surgery. We explained to our boss (Jason) why we needed to leave early. Much to our surprise he began using profanties, telling us very loudly to get out of his hotel. They then left us stranded to find our own way home. Not an easy task when home is 694 miles away and we are completely out of money.
Thanks to my fathers friend we are home safe and sound. Obviously this company is not only ripping off thier customers they're ripping off thier employees also.
