On about Dec. 6th 2006 I received a check in the amount of $1,998.00 in the mail, and the name printed on the letter with instructions was Global-Link Lotto with the UW Hospital and Clinics address on it. The check was cashed by me and returned (bounced) INF. On several occassions I tried to contact the university, and on one of my first contacts with them they informed me that the matter was being investigated, and they would contact me later with the results, but they never called me back. I also sent them a written letter request asking them to reimburse my money, and I didn't get a reply. I sent this letter addressed to the chief executive director Jeffrey Grossman, and dated January 25. The strange part about this whole thing is I don't know how they got a hold of my name, and address information in the first place.
