I was recently looking for an online business. I came across a "Google blog kit" free but with a $1.95 S&H fee. So I sent for it, I never received anything! Now I have a charge for a blog kit on my debit card for $39.99. I called them and they cancelled it, Now I have a new charge from Rebate Millionaire, (which I know I did not order) for $39.97!
I called the number that is stated on my account and it was customer service for Rebate Millionaire, I told "Holly" that I never ordered anything, never received anything, and that I want this charge reversed. She asked me if I ever ordered anything at all on the internet, and I told that I had ordered the Google blog kit for $1.95 shipping and she told me that when I ordered the tool kit, that it comes with other companies that will send me cd's for making money. And that if I did not cancel within 21 days that my card would be charged and thats what happened.
Well! When unknown companies are involved in this scam, how are you supposed to cancel? When I did not even know there were other companies? I told her again that I never received anything, and I do not want anything, and that I want this charge reversed immediately. She then gave me a confirmation number, and told me I would receive my money back into the account it was charged to, within 3-5 days of my phone call, January 22. I told her that I would call back if it was not reversed.
People! Take my word for it! DO NOT order these types of things, they are rip-offs! They now have my card number to charge anything they want on it! We will see if I get my money back or not! Thank you.
