Do Not do any business with Daryl Jennings of Jennings Automotive and Muffler. When my family was forced to leave San Diego, he got together with a known thief, Nick Denny, and had him break into our business yard and steal our NOVA. After we demanded the car back he claimed that he had a bill of sale and tried to register it. He then used his business to lien sale the vehicle knowing we were out of town and tried to register it. The lovely San Diego Police refused to get involved.
We have the title and registration. We have never signed anything over and yet now we are out the car and $7500 since thats what its worth. Darryl admitted to my husband that he knew Nick took the car without permission and wanted to work out a "deal" We have taken him to court and since he was able to illegally register it we lost the case. Darryl lied in court about everything. Both Nick and Darryl will pay for this. This car was bought for my son to fix up and drive. Darryl, Nick and their families should be ashamed, if they can steal from a 13 year old then do you really want to do business with them.
