My brother passed in Oct 06, within 3 weeks my ex-husband Mike Score was here to visit. He told me of his plans to open a cafe. Asked if he could borrow some money ntil he refinanced on of his properties.in Dec. 06 I lent him12,000.
He was back for xmas 06 and said he had to hurry back to open the place by New Years Eve. Didn't happen as inspections had to be done and every thing brought up to code. Lent him an additional 20,000. Said refi was to be sign shortly would pay back.
Recieved a call at work needed some $ for bills, wired 500 paypal 500 more.
Next was 5200 to Brevard Rest Supply 5,200 for kitchen.
Refi went thru but did not repay. Would either pay back ASAP or make me a partner. Never sent papers for % of business. Went to FL in June. Inspections passed, Liquor Lic in order opening 6/30. Needed money for stock (food and Liq) said I would LEND $8,000 but needed that back no later than Mid August. He agreed. Asked for paperwork saying I was a partner, said as soon as he could was going to have it drawn up would send it
Never the less to cut this whole story short I reiceved 4250 from the 8g I loaned him. Never got the paperwork for the business. When I asked to see the paperwork and accts. I was told I was never an invester what I had done was a personal loan.
Mr Score (A Flock of Seagulls fame) has not sent me a penny since 10/07.
I have not heard from Mr. Score. I am a single mom, my income from working as a Pharmacist Tech at CVS last year was 11,368. I hardly doubt I would loan anyone that kind of money with out expecting it back within a certain amount of time. My brother left that to my 11 year old daughter and I so that we would not have to struggle.
Mr Score was my husband at one time. We have always remained friends, I have known him 25 years. Perhaps I was stupid in loaning him the money but that doesnt mean I shouldnt get it back. OR that he shouldnt be exposed for what he is. He can play a gig and make 10g in one night, he recieves royalties. What he has done is a sin
