Seems like a ripoff but may not be

My husband ordered a 3 year subscription of Disney Adventures for our nieces from a door to door kid saying he only needed to sell 2 more subscriptions to win, so we ordered to help the kid out. We had expected that we would receive atleast 2 copies of the magazine by Christmas therefore we would be able to use them for their Christmas present. It says we should recieve the first issue within 90-120 days of our order. It has now been 113 days and we have not recieved it yet.

I finally found a phone number and spoke with someone, it appears that I should still receive my order but that they are an outside party therefore it takes significantly longer to receive the subscription. The reason I'm writing is because it took me over 2 weeks to find a phone number for one of the companies and talk to an actual person. The phone number I finally found was for LSS or Lone Star Subscription and it is 1-940-365-0089.

I called first thing in the morning and was able to speak with a very nice gentleman right away.
At first I thought this was a ripoff/scam, plus my husband paid cash so I had no way to track down the company via credit card or check cashing, but what I've come to realize is that we recieved a really good deal but we have to wait alot longer because their are about 4 "middleman" companies involved in this.

Hopefully, at the very least, anyone that is afraid they have been scammed will see that it isn't a scam and you can contact the above phone number to confirm your order and hopefully recieve your subscription.
