Some friends, my wife and I went to Black Market a couple of weeks ago. It was fantastic! The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was small, homey, with a lot of kitchen cacaphony. The owners also own Addies in Rockville and Black's Bar and Grill in Bethesda. Set in a transformed post office, I imagine the spring and summer would be GREAT times to sit on their porch and enjoy a bottle from their weel thought out wine list. We had mostly meat dishes, although the Black's group is known for their seafood. Cooked to perfection, we enjoyed the ecletic menu. The desserts were much more than we could handle, but delicious anyway. The rating dropped from amazing primarily due to the wait (we waited over an hour, but I understand they are now accepting reservations on the weekend nights) and the fact that a train rumbles by every 30 minutes or so. Otherwise, an extremely enjoyable experience. Visit their website at http://www.blackmarketrestaurant.com
