I received a call on my cell phone, a friendly girl named Cara, who told me that I had won a mens diamond watch. She got my mailing address, and started to try to sell me magazines. So the conversation went from "You Won!" to "Pay Me". I played along, knowing that I was not going to get involved with these guys.
I got the name of the Company "Century Marketing". The manager got on the line and wanted a credit card #, I told him that I was not comfortable just giving my cc# to some company that called me up out of the blue, told him that I liked his program but I needed to do due diligence and research. (I mean they wanted $3.99 / wk for 60 months, thats almost a grand!) He then became very pushy wanting that credit card #. So I hung up on him.
I went to Google.com and input Century Marketing Montana and the first listing was not the company website but "complaint.com" I feel lucky that I dodged this attempted swindling, but worry that they may contact me again.
