My contract and rights were violated by the US Army in 1988. I became disabled while on active duty, for which I was ordered to alert my chain of command, who promptly leaked sensitive information about my disability to the entire unit. I was essentially forced to leave the Army 19 july 1988 with a medical discharge that My CO did not have the authority or jurisdiction to offer or issue. After this was discovered, my discharge was altered to reflect other than the discharge I had originally signed for, and the records which might have proven a case on my behalf were destroyed to conceal the truth. The congress and senate have launched numerous inquiries on my behalf that have consistently turned up nothing due to this 'mysterious' lack of evidence. After 20 years of searching, I have found my former CO, who informed me that it was (a not publicly known) policy to violate the rights of soldiers like me by whatever means necessary to accomplish the objective of forcing these soldiers out of service.'Compassionate Nation' Mr. Bush? I think not.
