Due to medical problems, I had to file a BK. Prior to the BK and during, I had never missed a payment and all car loans were paid off ahead of time.
I got an 05 Crossfire from Bill Kay in Downers Grove, IL. The car is a Limited Edition and was new.
I got the lovely 18% interest rate and was told to pay on time for a year and refinance.
Unfortunately, the value of the vehicle is now 16K. The car has 12.5K miles on it. So, if I do my math correctly 35K-1K=34K. Only 1K is paid on the car due to usury interest rates.
I owe 34K which is 18% upside down and no one will refinance the vehicle. Chrysler refuses to work with me.
Lesson learned:
Dealerships are full of criminals and Chrysler is a PREDATORY lender. I have filed a BBB report and am filing with the State's Attorney's Office.
DO NOT USE BANKS FOR CARS. You are better off saving up cash and buying a decent car than a new car.
Do not do business with Chrysler Financial. Thieves.
