AM Press Assoc rip off - I saw some of the guy door to door asking for cash in Minneapolis, one of them was at my door saying that if I buy some magazines from AM Press Assoc he would get 250 points that will help him to win a scholarship, as I am a student too, I asked him that what do I have to do to help him earn those points. He said that I have to buy some magazines from AM Press Assoc. But later he said he wanted to open his own music store, so I found that he wasn't in college, and I asked him that what instrument he plays, he was thinking then he answer me that he play drums and very little guitar.
Finally, I bought the magazines, but I told him that I didn't have any cash with me. He asked me if i had checks, I said no I don't have checks. I asked him if I could pay with credit card, he answered that yes. He wrote down my information and after a conversation he left.
Later I search for the company AM Press Assoc to see when I was going to get my magazines and all I found after I typed the name AM Press Assoc I was impressed of what I was reading. I call the bank to cancel my credit card, before they charged to my card. The next day I when to the police department to inform the about this problem.
Later a friend of mine told me that those people are not from around the area they usually came from other states.
