Has the worst customer service ever Ripoff

I went several months back to find myself a Wedding dress. I had heard all the horror stories about Davids Bridal, but my sister had recently gotten her Prom dress and had great results. When I first started dealing with the company (before I purchased the dress) they were oh so helpful, but pushy. I had several consultants because my consultants kept quitting. I brought my Maid of Honor back after making an appointment and was kept waiting more than a half hour and when I asked why they told me that my latest consultant had quit and that they had to find and I quote "someone else willling to help me on such a busy day" When the dresses were finally brought to us they brought the Maid of honors dress first and not my dress. She wanted to wait and help me first, rather than be in her dress while trying to do. We were sharing a dressing room after all. Over 30 minutes later, my dress was brought to us and the consultant was annoyed because my Maid of honor had not tried her dress on. My Maid of honor informed this consultant why and the consultant remarked she did'nt have time for this... I went to the store manager and she helped us for the remaining time we were there. I should have known... But no... We were told after picking out out dresses that they wouls take 2 plus months to come in. We ordered the dresses and they came in eight days later. Problem? No not really except I had to go pick all the dresses up by myself because davids kept calling me insisting that I get them because they did not have room to store them. I was reluctant to pick them up because I wanted to make sure they fit my bridesmaids. No problems with the dresses. Thank God. One did not fit but that wasnt a size issue. I want back a few weeks later to get my and my daughter, one of the bridesmaids fittings. My shower was still a few weeks away and the reason that we were having it was so that my other sisters that were not in the wedding could help out with undergarmets. Mine were going to cost in the neighborhood of 150 dollars. Not a big deal money wise, but such a thughtful gesture right? I called the store to ask if I could borrow the stuff fir the fitting just like I had for the trying on of the dress previous. Told no problem and I double checked the sizes because I am big up top and smaller down bottom. I waited on hold and told again no problem. I brought my daughter and my mother with me. We came early so they would have time to pull the bra and slip. Whewn they called to confirm, they left a message asking me to do so. I wnet back to alterations and they knew nothing about the slip or bra. About 20 minutes later and after my daughter had been done they came back with the bra but the wrong size. I sne it back and they came back with a size too big. I put it on anyway, just used the smallest hook. I was then told I had to purchase the sli and thats why they had not brought it to me. I said no that I had cleared it all yesterday and they went and go the manager. Lynda. Lynda came into teh doorway of my dressing room while I was standing there in nothing but a bra and panties and after I told her I was not confortable talking to her half naked to inform me that she thought it was gross that I wanted to wear a bra and sli ans then force then to sell it to another customer after it had been worn. WHAT??!! These are the same things they shove at you when you are trying on the dresses..!! I told her I had called yesterday and was told it was fine. She then questioned me because she was there all day and who did I talk to blah balh. I told her I was not making it up and theta the lack of communication in her store was not my problem. Was she going to let me use the slip or no? She told me I would have to sign a release stating that it the dress did not fit after they altered it that they were not responsible. I said whatever, but was thinking wtf? I am paying triple for alterations because they assured me if there were any problems after alterations that they would replace the dress for free. The dress had some beading that I was worried about. Anyway she brought the slip but a size too small because again they didnt have my size. These were not rare sizes. I ended up taking borh garmets off because they didnt fit and started to get it altered anyway. The lady from alterations could not understand how I wanted the bustle and kepy insisting we do it another way. I had enough at the point and at my Mothers urging decided to come back another time. I went up front to pay for my daughters alterations and the manager took and opened my bag and questioned me about a bag in the bottom of the dress bag. I told her it was the material for my veil and that I was giving it to my Mother because she was making my veil. Of course even that sales lady at the register agreed that it seemed like she was making sure I wasnt stealing the bra or something. Both the bra and the slip were folded and put back in their bags and hung up by me and were in the dressing room I used. This was a long winded enough story and I left other in sulting things out, but when I went online to look for a number for the corp. Office. Imagine my surprise when I fould hundreds of stories on message boards. I also found the names and addresses I think I need. I will let you know what happends. Don't do business with this company. Mine is not even that bad a story. I was stunned at the others I read.
