Complaint / Review
Texas Direct Auto
Knowlingly deceives buyer

On July 19th, I called to reconfirm for the third (3rd) time the condition of the 03 Deville I wanted to purchase. Did it have any noticable body damage, scrapes, dents or other noticdeable damage? No, I was told. Did it have any inside damage that was noticable? No, I was told. Did it drive OK? Yes, was the answer.

With that reassurance, plus the printed EBAY descriptions (NO SURPRISES HERE... Excellent shape... CLEAN) I said I was going to purchase. Kevin took my info (credit card) and then removed the sale from EBAY!

Upon delivery damage was very noticable. Texas Direct Auto shipper marked several areas of damage on the shipping documents. Front bumper badly damaged & in need of repair & repainting. Under supports of front bumper all smashed & broken. Very noticable. Their pics did not show this damage because of the angle of the photos. All this damage was on the vehicle prior shipping.

The pass side doors had been repaired & repainted with poor results. Finish streaked and wavy. Very noticable.

Inside there are a number of cigarette burn thru holes in the fabric of the drivers windshield post. Very noticable

The water pumped leaked badly. The transmission shifted hard needing a $1400 repair job. The right from rim was bent needing a replacement to reduce vehicle vibration.

This vehicle repairs exceed $3400 just with the obvious items that anyone could see.

I sent an e-mail to which I received a zero response.

I see they have been REMOVED from membership in the Houstion BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

I believed these people because of their EBAY buyer approval ratings. Now I know this is a deception. I only saw one bad report about them on the internet. Now we know how they work their deception. They remove many sales from EBAY. The buyer has no way to complain on EBAY as the sale was removed.

Do not trust these people. I realized I was purchasing a car "as is" yet based on their supposedly "honest statement of condition". They committed fraud.

Buyer... BEWARE! Don't take their word for anything! Make sure you go check it out for yourself and possible save $1000's.

They are not to be trusted. I have the bills and documents to prove their deceit.
