I received a call from a man saying he was with the us gov grant dept, and that I qualified for a $5,000 grant and that it would be deposited in my account the next day. The man gave me an id verifacation and check number. Then he gave me his full name and employee number. I went to my bank and told them I thought I that something was wrong. And it was, the company was able to take $29.95 out of my account. The phone # that I was given to call them on is invalid. Thrn in a letter they sent me said that if i was not happy with their services to cancel, otherwise they would charge me $299.95. But how do I cancel when the # they gave me and the # on their website is not valid? I am a single mother and even though they only took $29.95, it still broke me. So if they call you be careful.
